Interspersed with Joanna’s performance work, is her experience as a community theatre director specialising in the development of new works. She has worked extensively as an arts project co-ordinator, voice and drama teacher in both the private and DECS education sectors and in many other freelance settings. She is a member of The South Australian Writers Centre and in addition to her poetry and creative writing; she is currently developing several new pieces for performance. She is a qualified Civil Marriage Celebrant
